I started this page because there are a lot of Americans in Mexico looking to watch their USA TV programs while in Mexico. But there are other things that I’ve learned as an almost full time resident of the community that I thought I would share – the focus of this page is to help you live your best life in the Puerto Penasco / Rocky Point Mexico community.

How to Access your USA Shows (Streaming Services) While in Mexico

There are two ways to do this:

If you want to install VPN on your Wifi Route so that ALL devices that use the Wifi Network are on VPN. This is the best option IF you have a lot of TVs and devices as the VPN services typically only allow 5-6 devices per subscription. These instructions recommend a ARUS router as its the easiest to configure.

If you want to keep your existing router, you can install and use VPN on each device. Here is how to do it:

Ship Items to K5 Enterprises in Ajo AZ

Mexico does not have a regular “mail” system like the USPS (for all its issues, thank you USPS for mail delivery!). So, when I am in Mexico for long periods of time, and I need something, I have items delivered to K5 Enterprises in Ajo, Arizona. For a small fee they will hold the package for you until you can pick it up. They are super friendly and have always gone the extra mile for me.

I typically order from Amazon, but have ordered from other sites as well. K5 is a UPS Authorized Shipping Provider and has both Shipping and Drop Off Services. NOTE: they do not support QR code returns, so be sure to bring a physical shipping label with you.

Delivery Services

Listed below are the delivery services – that I am aware of – that will pick up items in Arizona and bring them down to Puerto Penasco Mexico:

USA Mail Delivery

If you are looking to get your mail from the States delivered to you in Mexico, here is what you need to do:

  1. Get a post office box in Lukeville, AZ USPS
  2. Drive up and pick up your mail OR hire a service to do it. Services I am aware of:
    • Burrito Xpress: A runner from Burrito Express drives to the Lukeville AZ post office and picks up the mail, then delivers it to the Burrito Express “post office” boxes, where it can be retrieved during business hours.
      • Location: Calle Sufragio Efectivo 117, José López Portillo

      • Hours: Monday thru Friday from 9am – 5pm
      • NOTE: Will add website / FB page when I find it.
